Retail technology company Cloverleaf recently announced the release of shelfPoint, a dynamic shelf solution for brick-and-mortar locations, which uses artificial intelligence to capture data on customer engagement and track emotions.

The tech that determines an emotional response comes from Affectiva. Starting with video and branching into virtual reality and other mediums, Affectiva has developed a way to track a person’s emotion in real time.
